Following a successful four-year tenure as a Regional plugger & promoter for EMI, Jo Hart went on to help set up the highly successful Size Nine Promotions. Three years later she decided to go it alone and created Jo Hart PR in July 1997.
From these seeds Hart Media was born. Hart Media leads the way in Regional, Specialist (National and Regional) Student/College/University and Online Radio promotions. Along with Online PR, Management Consultancy, International Promotions and Publishing.

After joining EMI back in 1990 as a mere slip of a lass, Jo has gone on to work with everyone from Jools Holland to Justin Timberlake and has been plugging independently for a whopping 19 years. Introverted is not a word you’d use to describe Poppy. After finishing a degree in Songwriting (yes, it does exist!), she turned to the world of music business to help break unsigned artists. When Poppy’s not training for a triathlon, you’ll probably find her seeking out a happy hour in a cocktail bar in Soho or dad dancing to House music at Corsica Studios. Failing that, follow the gluten free cake crumbs and she may be stuffing her face in the Hart Media office.
It’s safe to say Dor has tried his hand at the more unusual things in life. Having travelled the world as a professional downhill mountain biker, skateboarding journalist and skeleton luge racer, speed and danger has always been one step behind. But don’t think for a second that he isn’t music through: Dor has performed on some big stages, including Glastonbury festival as well as the only slightly smaller Glostonebury festival in Gloucester. If you need something to brighten up your day, tell Dor a joke, his laugh is something that needs to be heard to be believed…
With a serious case of dancing feet, Beth’s love for music started off in the theatre, learning to dance at the mere age of three. Growing up in a house full of David Bowie and Joy Division, later joined by her influential older brother’s Linkin Park and Green Day preferences, she turned her ears to rock music. Much to the distaste of her ballet teacher! Since leaving college at eighteen, Beth has been stumbling about in different roles within the industry, before landing in the safe and crazy hands of Hart Media. When she’s not convincing the office to have a 5pm choccy break, you can certainly find her putting er dance lessons to use in Camden with cocktail in hand!
