Off the back of supporting acts including Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine and Young Guns, Birmingham 5-piece rock band SHVPES have revealed their debut album ‘Pain. Joy. Ecstasy. Despair.’ and it’s out on October 14th! The album, produced by Carl Brown & Jim Pinder (While She Sleeps, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine) features the previously revealed ‘God Warrior’ and ‘False Teeth’ as well as the brand new single ‘Two Minutes of Hate’, which got an exclusive spin on Dan P. ‘Pain. Joy. Ecstasy. Despair.’, according to SHVPES frontman Griffin Dickinson, is ‘about finding the beauty in whatever situation you’re in. Your ability to feel pain/to feel despair is ultimately what allows you to embrace the feeling of joy or ecstasy. It’s like yin & yang. ‘Pain. Joy. Ecstasy. Despair.’ gave me a platform to expel 24 years’ worth of frustration and turn it into something positive; something I can be proud of and something, I hope, the listener can find solace in.’

The album release isn’t the only thing coming up in SHVPES’ calendar though – they’ve also got some exclusive shows! In just a few days (August 15th/16th) they’ll be appearing as the sole support to Asking Alexandria at two completely SOLD OUT shows!
