Well done to Andy Shauf for last nights Radio 1 Maida Vale session on Huw Stephens show. Shauf, throughout the session, once again captivated with his effortlessly unique style of singer-songwriting.

Shauf delivered his latest single “Jenny Come Home” with aplomb, in what was arguably a perfect representation of his distinctive sound. Delivering a narrative from the perspective of a man who is cheating on his partner and gets caught, the track is a jangly, upbeat track unlike anything he’s delivered to date. The original recording is a lilting and entirely captivating pop record that manages to simultaneously convey a yearning and unfolding heartache and this live performance emulates this and then some.
