A self-taught musician, the 27 year old singer / songwriter, was inspired at an early age by his mother’s love for music and her aspirations to work in a professional capacity as a musician / singer in the 80’s / 90’s. This led to a collaboration with the legendary Level 42. She, being encouraged by George’s early musical abilities which were already evident through his school years, prompted her to buy him his first guitar when he was 12 years old. It was not long before he was writing his own songs. His desire to explore the human condition through his art shone through in his later school years during which time he focused on art, illustration and drama before going on to study Writing, Directing and Performance at the University of York George honed in on the city’s grass roots music scene where he perfected his performances with a particular artistic integrity, playing regularly at open mic events and collaborating with local artists and fellow students. He returned to London in 2017 determined to build a career in music and has been uncompromising in his efforts towards that goal ever since.
