Team
Jo Hart - The Boss
The big cheese, the main fromage, the tip-top Edam. Is there
anything Jo hasn't achieved in the music business? Okay, so she
never sang with Elvis or played a flaming banjo but other than
that there isn't much else she hasn't done. After joining EMI
back in 1990 as a mere slip of a lass, Jo has gone on to work
with everyone from Jools Holland to Justin Timberlake and has
been plugging independently for a whopping 12 years. Oh and Chris
Moyles thinks she has great legs too. Does life get any better?
Toby Opperman - Director
When Toby became tired of talking into a microphone during the
witching hour to literally tens of listeners, he jumped ship and
joined the other side of radio. No one listened to him as a
presenter and to be honest no one listens to him now. Has progressed from sleeping in his car to a public toilet down the Edgware Road. Cannot recall any of SXSW 2010 apart from a piece of barbecued chicken shaped like Jesus.
Rajina Gurung - Promotions Manager
The genteel Surrey town of Surbiton is famous for two things: firstly, nicey-nicey-are-they-wife-swapping-or-aren't-they 70s sitcom 'The Good Life'. And now, Rajina Gurung. English graduate, Rajina approaches her work at Hart Media with an excitement last seen by a group of MPs armed with a book of blank receipts. What she don't know about the wireless ain't worth knowing. Her dream band? George Michael fronting The Soldiers singing the songs of Lennon & McCartney & Hucknall.
Steve Stone - Promotions Assistant
Latest of the Hart progeniture. Steven J R Stone studied psychology at university to emulate his heroes: R.D. Laing, Carl Jung and Siegmund Freud. In honour of this triumvirate of great men, Steve briefly changed his name to Freud Jung Laing. Unfortunately, people mistook him for a Chinese meal and so he decided to change career path instead. Human science's loss was music's gain and Steve is now firmly straddling the razor edge of contemporary music. A top bloke. Lager top that is.
