Sophie Ellis-Bextor Radio Tour

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is back after her highly successful album ‘Wanderlust’ with her sixth release ‘Familia’, out on 2nd September. According to Sophie, the album is ‘the bolshier, more extrovert little sister to Wanderlust’ and its lead single ‘Come With Us’ (available now!) is as modern as it is retro – it’s got a touch of that classic Sophie Ellis-Bextor disco sound. We recently sent Sophie out on a radio tour, where she visited 22 stations, as well as doing ISDN interviews for 20 more! Check out the video for her new single below.

In a style that’s rarely done in this day and age, ‘Come With Us’ is a live disco song – it was recorded completely live from the ground up, no studio trickery!

The album has a plethora of styles over its eleven tracks, from the beautiful and emotive ‘Unrequited’, to the synth-laden ballad ‘Death Of Love’ and the buoyant alt-pop opener ‘Wild Forever’. Watch Sophie perform ‘Crystallise’ from the album acoustically for The Cwtch below.
