The team here at Hart Media had the absolute pleasure of going to see Allen Stone in concert on Monday at Scala. What a show! Allen and his band were sensational, hitting every note and bringing an energy that got the whole audience dancing and singing along. The tunes were coming thick and fast as Allen serenaded the audience with his mighty vocal range. “Unaware” in particular went down a treat and the performance of “American Privilege” during the encore was similarly fantastic. Allen even took it upon himself to jump in to the audience and personally hug as many of us as he could. Other highlights included an epic 5 minute drum solo, a voice box solo during “Voodoo” and the two fantastic trumpet players who we were told had literally learnt all the songs that afternoon! All in all, an amazing gig and we will definitely be seeing Allen again when he’s back in the UK.
